With poetic grit reminiscent of PJ Harvey and a cheeky strut to match Suzi Quatro, Melbourne Singer/Songwriter and Bassist Suzanne Kinsella is a musician who has built her career from the inside out. Suzanne’s unique pairing of commanding vocals and innovative bass playing has seen her perform on stage with Gotye, Deborah Conroy, Dallas Frasca, Liz Stringer and Jess McAvoy, and tour and perform in Canada, New York and Australia.
Suzanne’s debut release ‘The Conversation’ is a bold collection of lush and compelling songs underpinned by strong pop sensibilities. Launched at The Toff in Town Melbourne in November 2014 (supported by Nussy and Damon Smith), Suzanne’s endearing and dynamic vocals are the heart and soul of this album, whilst her groove infused bass playing is reminiscent of the melodic lines of Paul McCartney and Meshell Ndegeocello.
“...The Conversation is what it says it is, a conversation put to some great Indie Pop music...” – James Irvine, 97.9 Valley FM
