The Shoelace Sessions are excited to present a night of music at Compass Pizza. We will be showcasing our favourite artists and our team will be capturing the entire show to create live videos for all involved. This event will held on the first Saturday of March, April & May 2019.

Our second night on April 6th is filled with an ridiculously great lineup, comprising of Connor Black Harry, Clio & Grand Pine.

Be sure to come along, have some delicious pizza, a few drinks & be whisked away for the night xx

|| Connor Black-Harry ||

Connor Black-Harry is a singer songwriter from Melbourne. His songs are ageless and expansive, and his voice echoes the likes of Jeff Buckley. With folky undertones and expert musicality, Connor brings pain and joy to equilibrium in his beautiful sets.

|| Clio ||

Clio Renner is a Melbourne-born pianist, keyboardist, vocalist and songwriter. She has spent the last few years touring and recording with many of Australia's most acclaimed musical artists including Angus and Julia Stone, Tim Rogers, Deborah Conway and Killing Heidi.
"There is an effortlessness to..Clio's vocals (which) float across rich and dynamic textures, with challenging structures and arrangements presented with a sense of simplicity and ease." - Tom Iansek (Big Scary).

|| Grand Pine ||

Taking inspiration from artists such as Fleet Foxes, Bon Iver, Father John Misty, Boy and Bear and Husky, Grand Pine set out to create their own style of Modern Folk Rock.

Grand Pine have recently played at the Queenscliff Music Festival, Anglesea Music Festival and Festival of Sails as well as supporting acts such as Sons Of The East, Alexander Biggs, Rat!Hammock, Dan Kelly and Wolf and Willow and playing shows at venues such as Northcote Social Club, The Gasometer, The Evelyn Hotel, The Tote, The Wesley Anne, Some Velvet Morning, The Grace Darling and The Workers Club.

We are so excited for this night ~ xx
